SAFE SISTERS
Safe Sisters project will bring newcomer and racialized senior women (60) together, once a week, to learn about elder abuse, including financial and digital safety. Most recently, we have had a rise among our senior attendees, reporting they have experienced the
grandparent and CRA scams.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY INITIATIVE FUND
Our program will focus on the residential and IC&I organics waste stream.
About half of the overall wastes, yet not recycled at a rate commensurate with quantities or importance. We will raise awareness of their value as a resource for soil health, climate-change mitigation, water conservation, biodiversity, and local community-building.

Taste of Turkey
The event will support the February 6, Earthquake in 2023, that devastated vast areas of southern Turkey and war-torn northwest Syria, leaving millions of people displaced, and hungry. Malnutrition lack of access to healthcare, and fires caused by extreme summer heat. Millions of people are still grappling with the aftermath of the destruction and face a deteriorating humanitarian crisis.
